Can you walk to the beach and town?

Yes. We are exactly a mile from the beaches and harbour. It is approximately 20 minutes to walk down hill to the harbour on your way you will pass the town centre which has a number of shops, restaurants and bars.

Are dogs welcome on site and in the accommodation?

Yes dogs are welcome in all our accommodation. To ensure the enjoyment of the park for everyone, please keep them on a lead at all times whilst outside your accommodation and pick up after them.  There is an additional charge please add at the time of booking.

Is there WiFi on site?

Yes there is a free shared bandwidth WiFi system available throughout the park. The park Wifi is available in the Gold and silver Holiday Homes. This is only suitable for basic internet practices and will not support streaming. If you would want to stream tv and films our tv's support linking your phone and using your own data plan and 4G network. The Lodges with hot tubs have their own dedicated WiFi for faster speeds and streaming of tv, films and music.

Can I park next to the accommodation?

Yes there is parking adjacent to the Lodges, Holiday Homes and Studios. Parking is a short walk to the camping cabins.

How do I pay for my holiday?

A 25% deposit is payable at the time of booking to secure your holiday. The balance is due one month prior to arrival.

Can I hire a Highchair and travel cot?

Yes it is possible to hire travel cots and high chair, subject to availability. Please request this at the time of booking.

Nearest Shop

There is no shop on site the nearest shop is a 12 minute walk or couple of minutes drive.

Accessibility Information

Wheelchair Accessibility at Gilsland Park

All the accommodation at our park has three steps leading up to them with a handrail. This makes it suitable for reduced mobility but unsuitable for no mobility.
The Lodges are equipped with a bath in them as well as a shower.
We have one caravan with a bath in it, to book this could you please phone the office directly.
Lodge external door width: 70cm
Lodge internal door width: 64cm
Caravan door widths vary, external 70-75cm
Caravan internal door approx 55cm.
Parking throughout the Park has parking adjacent to all units.
