The story of Gilsland Park started in the 1930s, when Dr Robert Macnair purchased the site. His belief in the health benefits of fresh sea air and the East Lothian coastline laid the foundations for what would become a place where families could relax, reconnect and enjoy the outdoors.
Over the decades, Gilsland Park has continually evolved to meet the changing needs of holidaymakers.
From traditional camping holidays to modern holiday homes, luxury lodges with hot tubs and glamping pods, each generation of the Macnair family has invested in the park while preserving the friendly, personal atmosphere that guests return for year after year.
Today, Gilsland Park remains a true family business. Four generations of the Macnair family have cared for the park, sharing a passion for creating memorable holidays in one of Scotland's most beautiful coastal locations.
